New Diet...

Today I started the Paleo diet. It is modeled after the theory of the diet of mankind during the Paleolithic era. During that time, man was a hunter-gatherer. This meant that he ate what was available to him at that moment. This will include lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. The protein source comes from that which would have been easily attainable. Fish, shellfish, poultry, rabbit, bison.....since they roamed, they did not cultivate foods, neither was their any husbandry...this means that all dairy and farm raised beef and pork are not allowed. This also means that I will not be taking in any grains.

It should be interesting to see how things go. It will be a fun little experiment.
